Road conditions on Tuesday morning seem to have only turned worse, compared to Monday morning.  Ice continues to cover the majority of roads in Murfreesboro, Smyrna and LaVergne along with icy roadways throughout the county.

Murfreesboro is doing their best to combat accidents as crews are plowing and salting the streets in 12-hour shifts.

Police ask, “Unless it’s an emergency, please stay off the roads. If you have to get out, please drive slowly and with extreme care.”
