UPDATE: While Murfreesboro Medical Clinic will reopen on Friday (2/19/2021), this past week has been the longest period of time they have ever shut down - which was a big decision to make. Of course, they were not alone in the closure, numerous businesses, government offices and medical facilities have closed throughout Middle Tennessee, because the icy roads have proved to be dangerous.

WGNS spoke to the CEO of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic about their decision to close due to inclement weather - - a decision that was not made lightly…

That was CEO Joey Peay. He told WGNS that this was the first time that he knows of, that their offices have closed for more than one day due to inclement weather in the past 22-years.

Just because the office has been closed since Monday afternoon, it does not mean that their services are down.  We asked Peay on Thursday what patients can do if they need to ask their doctor a question…

Patients can also use the MMC Patient Portal to ask their doctor questions.

Again, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and all MMC NOW Walk-In Clinic's will reopen on Friday (2/19/21).
