(RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN) The Rutherford County Health Department's website shows that persons age 65 and older are now (2/22/2021) eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations. In addition, Phase 1b is also in effect for staff members of kindergarten through 12th grade schools and child care facilities.
In an effort to get more eligible residents vaccinated, Rutherford County Mayor Bill Ketron set-up a phone-bank where you talk with a local person who will help set up a vaccination appointment for you.
Ketron stressed . . .
The county mayor explained that the number to call to reach Rutherford County's COVID-19 vaccination phone bank is 615-849-0347. It is open weekdays from 8:30AM each morning until 4:00 in the afternoons, and Saturdays from 9:00 o'clock until noon.
Another way to make getting a vaccination easier is that there are now more locations in which to get inoculated. In addition to the Rutherford County Health Department's drive-through location at the old State Farm office building on the corner of Memorial and DeJarnette Lane, you can now receive the coronavirus vaccination at:
