Due to the threat of severe weather, all Rutherford County Schools will be closing early on Thursday (03/25/21). Schools’ spokesperson James Evans made the announcement around 8:30 this morning (Thursday).

Again, all Rutherford County Schools will be releasing two-hours early today, Thursday, March 25, because of the potential for severe weather affecting our area. Reports indicate the severe weather will likely hit during the normal dismissal time.

All Rutherford County after school activities have been canceled today.

Murfreesboro City Schools will also be closing two hours early today due to the threat of bad weather this afternoon. The city ESP program will remain open until 6PM tonight. 

Additionally, due to the threat of severe weather conditions, COVID-19 testing & vaccinations at State Farm Operations will be postponed. If you have an appointment scheduled, you will be contacted to reschedule.

OTHER CLOSINGS:

Premier Athletics in Murfreesboro will be closed today, due to the severe weather threat. 
Rutherford County Library System ALL BRANCHES closing at 1PM today due to the impending severe weather.
Redstone Federal Credit Union branches closing at 2 p.m. today
