Mar 27, 2021 at 08:38 am by WGNS

We've already experienced severe thunderstorms this (Saturday) morning and more are possible until the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Thunderstorms with high winds, hail, flooding and isolated tornadoes are possible.

The greatest chance of isolated tornadoes will be later today through the overnight.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed Rutherford County and much of Middle Tennessee in the "enhanced" risk, a level three out of five for severe weather. All hazards are possible.

In addition to severe storms, flooding rains are likely. Three-to-four inches of rain will be possible through early Sunday morning.

Stay with WGNS and our Weatherology team of meteorologists who will continue to update the forecast.
