Construction on Highway 99 continues in Murfreesboro, which will lead to a road closure this month. As part of the widening project, the contractor for TDOT will be closing the northside of Cason Ln at Highway 99 (New Salem Hwy) for underground utility installation starting June 21 through July 23.
The first stretch of road that goes from the Warrior Drive area to Cason Lane should be complete by mid-summer.
