MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee State University recently congratulated the 5,505 students who appeared on the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester.

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.

This new list, which includes the names and hometowns of the honored students alphabetized by home county, state and surname, is the final compilation by the MTSU Records Office of undergraduates earning the dean’s list distinction for the spring.

The list naming students from Rutherford County included over 1,600 names!

The searchable PDF is available at http://ow.ly/ukOY30rIO6S. An archive of recent dean’s lists by semester also is available at http://mtsunews.com/information-for-media/mtsu-deans-list

The MTSU Registrar's Office provides dean's list information, which is compiled from data from each student's official records. For questions about an individual student’s inclusion on the list, please contact the Records Office at records@mtsu.edu

MTSU began its summer 2021 semester May 17th and will end it with summer 2021 commencement on Saturday, Aug. 7th.

The semester is continuing as a mix of remote-learning, online, in-person and hybrid courses; university President Sidney A. McPhee announced May 24, however, that mask-wearing and social-distancing mandates have been lifted for the remainder of the summer.

The university plans to resume mostly in-person courses and activities for fall 2021, which begins Monday, Aug. 23.
