Home Total Loss 4th of July Fire

(La Vergne, TN)  Flames were pouring from both the rear area and roof-line of a Zither Lane home in LaVergne on Sunday afternoon around 2:15PM. Reports indicate the flames were seen by firefighters as units from the La Vergne Fire & Rescue Department rolled onto the scene.  

Officials report that the home is considered a total loss. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The fire marshal is conducting an investigation into the blaze to determine the cause of this 4th of July fire. 

Mutual aid was provided by La Vergne Police, Smyrna Fire, Rutherford County EMS, and Box 100. The Red Cross assisted the family as well.
