(MURFREESBORO)  Murfreesboro Fire Rescue responded to a home fire around 6:15PM Wednesday evening (7/7/2021) at 404 Minerva Drive.  First responders at the scene reported heavy smoke and flames visible upon their arrival. 

Crews worked throughout the evening extinguishing the blaze. 

The home was vacant and the slightly over two and a half acre plot with a 2,854 square foot brick home was set for a Parks Auction at 5:00 o'clock Friday evening, July 15, 2021.
