(La Vergne, TN) Around 7:18AM Tuesday morning (9/7/2021), the Tennessee Highway Patrol was dispatched to westbound I-24 near Waldron Road to a three-vehicle crash.  One of them was an overturned tractor trailer rig that was blocking three of the 4-lanes of westbound traffic (toward Nashville). The incident was at mile marker 64. 

Officials diverted motorists onto the New Nashville Highway (41-70) between the Sam Ridley Parkway and Old Hickory Boulevard. 

T-DOT crews were able to get all lanes of westbound I-24 (toward Nashville) back open around 10:30AM.
