Construction of a New Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Headquarters Could Get Underway in Late 2022

There has been talk of a new fire administration building for quite some time, but plans were placed on the backburner when the COVID Pandemic hit in 2020. One year later, talks are slowly progressing.

Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue will have a new Headquarters building in the near future, which will be located in the area of Bridge Avenue and Highway 99. Fire Chief Mark Foulks told WGNS NEWS…

The fire department will build on land already owned by the City of Murfreesboro within the Doug Young Public Safety Training Center (701 Bridge Avenue).

Again, construction of a new fire headquarters building could start in late 2022 or 2023.
