(MURFREESBORO)  Around 10:30AM Saturday morning (9/18/2021), Rutherford County Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a home fire on Dominion Drive in the Leanna Community. As the first units arrived at the scene, flames and smoke were coming through the roof. 

Crews quickly entered the home and extinguished the blaze.

Heavy damage was done to the kitchen area as well as to the structure above. Flames destroyed the kitchen ceiling, went into the attic, and totally opend the roof above the kitchen. 

Then they did a thorough search of the structure. No one was in the home. 

Rutherford County Fire-Rescue's Fire Marshal team is doing a thorough investigation to determine what started the fire. .
