Diversity creates opportunities for growth and experiences that are not necessarily part of our everyday world. Sharing culture with others helps to broaden the horizons of children, teens, and adults while promoting solidarity.

The festival includes the foods, crafts, and entertainment of an array of cultures and countries represented in Middle Tennessee.

A children’s game area will give children the opportunity to play a variety of games from several countries as well as make a few crafts that represent those cultures.

This year, the list of performers include MTSU’s Chinese Instrumental Ensemble, Kevin Locke (Lakota-Sioux hoop dancer), Steel Drum Solo by Tony Hartman, Ballet Folklorico Sol De Mexico, Spanish Flamenco, and more! Several of the performers will be selling CDs and other souvenirs.

The festival will feature cultural exhibit booths from near and far. Along with the cultural exhibits, craft vendors will be offering homemade products for sale.

Everyone can share the excitement with by being a part of the 2021 ‘Boro International Festival!
