(MURFREESBORO) A touch of cabin fever and the thought of getting one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts brought large numbers of enthusiasts out to the 28th Annual Art Studio Tour this past Saturday and Sunday (11/20-21-2021).
One artist told WGNS that it was more traffic than they had seen in years. Another noted that it topped all of their past shows.
The founder of the Art Studio Tour, Lewis Snyder, announced that he was reducing his involvement and had sold his property on Avon, but will continue to operate Studio S until the end of the year.
Snyder has made dinner settings for the White House and all U.S. presidents for the past several decades. In addition, he has been commissioned to create architectural art embellishments for historic buildings that have undergone major renovations.
In a WGNS broadcast last week, Snyder noted that his passion for art has made life enjoyable.
He will continue to live in Murfreesboro and involved with creative endeavors. NewsRadio WGNS will keep you informed.
