(MURFREESBORO)  Tennessee Governor Bill Lee recently signed legislation that impacts Tennessee's businesses to require face masks while in their facilities. However, federal requlations are set in place for medical facilities and such services are exempt from the state sanctions. As a result, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic will continue to require anyone using their facilities to wear a mask. 

MMC CEO Joey Peay noted, "For that reason, in accordance with the applicable federal regulations, all MMC locations will continue to require face masks for patients and visitors over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status." 

Peay noted that MMC is taking every preventive measure to keep its patients and staff safe. 

This policy is in effect at all Murfreesboro Medical Clinic locations.
