(MURFREESBORO) The old song "There's No Place Like Home for the Holidays" takes on new meaning for one local family. A missing person returned home at 10:00 o'clock Tuesday night (12/21/2021).
30-year old Andrew Holt returned home Tuesday night.
Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers said, "He is safe. As a precaution, Holt was evaluated by Rutherford County EMS and then taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Holt has been removed from the National Crime Information Center database."
In earlier reports, it was learned that Holt was severely bi-polar and could not function normally without medication. In addition, his mother stated that Andrew took $100 from an envelope and left home on his black bicycle. She also stated that he had never planned ahead to slip-away before.
His family contacted Murfreesboro Police saying that he was last seen in the Cason Lane - St. Andrews Drive area on Friday, December 10. Now, eleven days later, 30-year old Andrew Holt returned home safely.
