This year's Polar Bear Plunge at the outdoor Sports*Com swimming pool will be on Saturday, January 8, 2022...

Reports indicate the weather outside on January 8th will see a low of 36-degrees. The high is expected to be around 50. There is also a 24% chance of rain mixed with wind speeds of 9 miles per hour.

The Sports*Com doors will open at 8 next Saturday morning and the cold water JUMP will take place at 10 AM (01/08/21). The admission to take the frigid dip is free, but the parks will be collecting donations for a Special Olympics basketball team from Murfreesboro that will play in an Orlando, Florida championship game...



Parks employees will also be collecting nonperishable food items that will be used by less fortunate residents in our community.
