Murfreesboro Man Sentenced for Two Murders

A Murfreesboro man has been found guilty of the murder of an unborn baby and the mother. The killing took place in Shelby County in 2009 and Tarence L. Nelson was convicted this past Saturday on  two counts of first-degree murder. Nelson will serve two life sentences.

In 2009, Nelson shot Tonya Johnson in the stomach and the head.
