The Rutherford County Sheriffs Office has made an arrest in connection with the more than $10,000 of saddles that were stolen from area residents. 23-year old Stanley Wise of Eagleville was charged with two counts of theft.
Detective Jim Tramel arrested the suspect. He said, “Through an investigation with Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and Murfreesboro Police Department, it was revealed that Stanley Wise had in his possession four saddles that belonged to two victims.”
The saddles were stolen January 24th on Rhodes Lane and January 22nd on Cainsville Pike. One of the saddles was custom-made. Three other saddles recovered from Wise remain unclaimed.
Wise was being held on aggravated burglary charges from Bedford County. He has previously been charged with aggravated burglary.
The hearing for Stanley Wise is set March 11th in General Sessions Court.
