(MURFREESBORO) 35 year old Brandon Anderson of Murfreesboro has been identified as the man who was shot and killed in the parking lot 1644 Middle Tennessee Boulevard in front of Habibi Hookah Café. The shooting took place at 2:03AM Saturday morning (2/12/2022).
Four other people were also shot. One remains in critical condition at the hospital, and the other three have been treated and released.
The preliminary investigation shows two individuals began arguing and fighting in the parking lot before gunfire erupted.
Murfreesboro Police Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told NewsRadio WGNS that the shooter is still on the run.
More than likely, someone in the immediate area either heard or saw something. A police sergeant heard the gunfire and rushed to the scene where he found five injured victims. He started life-saving efforts on a male victim and used a tourniquet. The man died at the hospital.
Again, 35 year old Brandon Anderson of Murfreesboro was killed in the early Saturday morning shootout at Habibi Hookah Café on Middle Tennessee Boulevard. In addition, one of the four others who were shot remains hospitalized in critical condition. The other three were treated and released.
