Even the good crop of Kudzu is burning. Wonder how long it will take for this hearty crop to return?

(MURFREESBORO) The big question has been "what's all of the smoke in the air"?  The National Park Service is doing a planned burn Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 14 and 15, 2022) at the Stones River National Battlefield.

Officials at the local park told WGNS news that the Mississippi Fire Management Zone team is carrying out prescribed fires to the earthworks at Redoubt Brannan Monday afternoon at approximately (took place at 1:00PM). There were temporary closures of West College Street Monday during the burn process.
