Area art enthusiast are invited to join the Department of Art and Design and the Rutherford Arts Alliance's Visual Arts Group in MTSU's Todd Art Gallery for a Wine and Cheese, Meet and Greet Celebration at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022.

The event features Robyn Rainwater and fellow encaustic artist Pam Barrett Hackett and includes the opening reception for an exhibit of artwork from Central Magnet School students. Robyn kicks off the festivities through an ArtTalks Presentation at 2 p.m., in the Todd Lecture Hall, Todd Hall, Room 204, where she and Pam will present, demo, and take Q&A about their encaustic process.

Meet and Greet Agenda:

• 2 p.m., join Robyn with Pam in Todd Lecture Hall, Room 204, for an Art Talks Presentation, Demo, and Q&A.

• A Wine and Cheese Gathering follows in Todd Art Gallery, Todd Hall, Room 224.

• The Meet and Greet event concludes at 4 p.m. Simultaneously, a reception for the Student Artists of Central Magnet School and their art teachers Danny Freeman and Ray Barrett will occur in Room 224A.

The public is invited to attend this free event, meet Robyn and Pam, experience the student artwork from Central Magnet School, and interact with a number of our community's visual artists.
