(MURFREESBORO) The 92nd National Guard Association of Tennessee held its annual conference February 24-26, 2022 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center. Due to the rain, the golf tournament and shooting event were cancelled, buy will be rescheduled this spring.
One of the highlights of the three-day event was Saturday's alumni breakfast. The purpose of this event is to provide members with the opportunity to renew old friendships while supporting the continued success and viability of the state’s officer commissioning program.
Much of the time was devoted to improving the leadership skills of the state guard with specially designed Officer Professional Development classes.
Outgoing President James W. Ridings said, "I want to express my deep gratitude for your support over the past two years. We set the standard for other state associations by holding an outstanding conference last year in the face of an era of uncertainty and ever-changing circumstances. The 'Volunteer State' once again led the way in holding a safe and successful conference."
