The Rutherford County Soil Conservation District will give away bare-root tree seedlings to Rutherford County landowners.

If the weather is nice, they will set up outside the USDA Office, Suite 150 & 152. at Lane Agri-Park Complex, located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd, beginning Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. The species available are Shumard Oak, Baldcypress, Buttonbush, Hybrid Chestnut, and Red Mulberry. They will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There will be a limit of five (5) trees per landowner.
