Men in black minivan allegedly lured victim into van and robbed him in highly trafficked tourist area

In Nashville, a man lured another man into a black minivan and once inside, the victim was robbed at knifepoint. The incident happened in a highly trafficked tourist area. 

The victim told police there were several others inside the van at the time of the robbery on Tuesday (03/22/2022).

The attack occurred on Rep. John Lewis Way North at Commerce Street in downtown Nashville. The location of the robbery was just a few doors down from the Ryman Auditorium and happened in broad daylight.

Violent Crimes detectives are searching for the black 2021 Chrysler Voyager minivan that had a Massachusetts license plate (Tag Number: 2THR29).

The Voyager fled the area on Lafayette Street.
