Murfreesboro – “On your mark. Get set. Go!” said Development Coordinator Katie Enzor. “The Child Advocacy Center is making preparations for the 7th annual Hometown Heroes Walk for Children.”
“April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and a wonderful time to show our community’s support of child abuse victims,” continued Enzor.
There are five levels of sponsorship – Platinum ($5,000), Gold ($2,500), Silver ($1,000), Bronze ($500), and Friends of the CAC ($250). Businesses and individuals can get their name on the back of the event t-shirts by mailing their contribution to the Child Advocacy Center or registering online by Monday, April 6, 2022 at cacrutherford.org/events.

Hometown Heroes Walk for Children in Murfreesboro - Continued...
All of the proceeds from the Hometown Heroes Walk for Children will support services for child abuse victims and their families. In the last 22 years, the Child Advocacy Center has positively impacted the lives of 40,071 Rutherford and Cannon County residents (11.5% of the population).
“For last 22 years, the Child Advocacy Center has been blessed with generous donors who have helped us make a difference in children’s lives,” said Child Advocacy Center director Sharon De Boer. “Partner with the Child Advocacy Center and show your support of child abuse victims.”
