UPDATE: Tornado WATCH for Rutherford Co. until 1am. Extremely high winds expected with storms along with the possibly of isolated tornadoes.

Previosly Reported: Severe storms capable of 60 to 70 mph wind and isolated tornadoes are possible on Wednesday evening.

The Storm Prediction Center has Rutherford County in a level 3 of 5 for severe weather, with damaging straight line winds likely with storms. Isolated tornadoes are also possible.

Expect Wednesday to be a windy day, with a Wind Advisory in effect. Gusts as high as 45 mph are possible into the afternoon. A quick moving line of storms is expected in the area afternoon to early evening, bringing even higher winds.
