Smyrna Bank Robbery Investigation Remains OPEN - $5,000 Reward Offered for Information Leading to the Capture of the Suspects

SMYRNA, Tennessee — Smyrna Detectives report they continue to investigate a bank robbery that took place on April 4, 2022. So far, police have not been able to determine the identities of the two subjects captured on surveillance video leaving the bank after it was robbed.

According to the SPD, two individuals entered Regions Bank at 415 Sam Ridley Parkway, brandished firearms, and forced employees and customers to one side of the bank. After gaining access to cash, the individuals left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The individuals fled the scene in an older model, red Chevrolet sedan.

Regions Bank is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the duo. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the FBI, Nashville Agency’s Violent Crimes Task Force, 615-232-7500.
