The Roundtable Now On WGNS Weekdays 9-10am

WGNS is excited to announce a new show to the weekday lineup. The Roundtable is now on weekdays between 9-10am, in the time slot Truman Jones hosted for 11-years. The show will have rotating hosts, which will bring a variety of guests, talking about the news, sports, politics and people of Rutherford County.

Retired Rutherford County Assistant District Attorney J. Paul Newman, former Smyrna area County Commissioners Wayne Blair and Rick Hall, Voice of the MTSU Blue Raiders and realtor Chip Walters, Motlow Political Science Professor Dr. Bill Kraus and area musician John Blankenship will be hosting one day per week.

The shows will draw from the hosts areas of expertise as well as their community influence. For instance, Blair and Hall will focus on Smyrna area news and people.

Station Manager Bryan Barrett said, "We believe this lineup, with their varying backgrounds, spheres of influence and interests will give listeners something different each day and offers more opinions and viewpoints to help our community make well informed decisions."
