The Christian ministry works with local residents to prevent homelessness by providing encouragement, spiritual and financial support to those in need. The organization helps by providing rent and utility assistance, security deposit support, seasonal clothing and tax relief.

The Barnabas Vision fundraiser will be on Saturday, April 30th between 4 and 7 PM at the home of Gerald & Joanne Coggin. There will be a short program where people who are close to the organization will share details about what Barnabas Vision is all about.

Barnabas Vision was started by David and Maria Coggin in 2011. Together, the couple leads the devoted volunteers and board members of the not-for-profit to serve the greatest needs in Rutherford County while spreading the light of Jesus. Coggin said, “Our committed team works effortlessly to identify the ever-changing needs of our community.”

Barnabas Vision partners with many local churches and nonprofits to reach people throughout the community.
