(La Vergne, Tenn.) In La Vergne, drivers will need to give themselves additional time if they normally travel by way of Stones River Road Wednesday through Saturday. The city says alternate routes will be needed, due to work being done on Stones River Road at the railroad tracks.
Stones River Road is expected to be closed from May 4th at 8:00 a.m. through May 7th for railroad repairs. The road will be closed for the duration of the work, including times when workers are not present. Detour signs will be in place to help drivers find their way around the construction site.
