(CHRISTIANA, TN)  On Tuesday (5/24/2022), units from Rutherford Fire-Rescue were dispatched to a tractor trailer truck fire at Love's Truck Stop on Buchanan Road exit #89 off of I-24 in Christiana, TN.

The semi-truck was partially involved when the first responder arrived on-the-scene. A total of three units responded to the truck stop. Officials report the driver of the truck managed to safely get away from the burning rig and was unharmed. Thankfully, other vehicles in the parking lot were not damaged by the blaze as they were far enough away to not be impacted by the flames.

Rutherford County Fire-Rescue confirmed the fire was contained to the truck. The trailer and the contents were not damaged. Fire crews that worked the blaze included RCFR units RE51, T51, and T52.
