(SMYRNA TN) A storm came through earlier Friday (6/17/2022) and the day became more comfortable as the Annual Wine on the Verand began in Smyrna. More than 175 patrons attend and raised in excess of $5,000 according to Sam Davis Home Executive Director Jenny Lamb. 

There was a Frank and His Camera sighting on the veranda reported by many, WGNS was able to confirm that news with the photos posted here. 

The Sam Davis Home, built in 1810, is set on 164 serene acres in the heart of Smyrna, Tennessee.  On these grounds, you'll find two historic homes, several outbuildings, slave quarters, the family cemetery and over 100 of the Davis family's personal effects on display.
