• Sheriffs Citizens Academy (Aug. 23-Nov. 1) Tuesday evenings 6-9PM.  This is FREE, but the deadline to sign-up is THIS FRIDAY (8/19/2022).
• SCAN (Senior Citizens Awareness Network) checks on area seniors and they now offer an "around the neck" free alert that connects seniors with RCSO in emergencies. 
• 9/11 Tribute at RCSO (940 New Salem Highway) at 9:00AM
• BACK TO SCHOOL and slow-down in school zones, plus don not use cell phones in those areas. 
• Trbute to crossing guards and SRO program.
