They closed Sunday after being open for eight-years. Owner Ricky Turner says he's sad he had to shut down his meat and three restaurant on Lascassas Pike. The original restaurant opened in Bedford County, then moved to Middle Tennessee Boulevard before settling in back in 2011 on Lascassas Pike. The Cedar Bucket Restaurant hosted the Prentice Alsup Heating and Air Coaches Corner on WGNS for the past two years for Saturday morning breakfast. The restaurant was most popular for their fried chicken and catfish, meat loaf and Southern-style vegetables. Turner, who has returned to work at Nissan, says while one door closes, others will open.
