PROBLEM SOLVED: Delay in Announcing Potential Powerball Winners Monday Night Corrected

UPDATE: Problems with announcing the winning numbers for the Powerball this past Monday night have been fixed. The numbers were "10 - 33 - 41 - 47 - 56 and 10," according to the Official Powerball website

PREVIOUS NEWS STORY - With a jackpot of nearly $2-billion, Monday’s Powerball has been delayed. Matt Piper with CBS News reported… On November the 6th, the Tennessee Lottery confirmed Monday’s drawing was the 41st Powerball drawing since the jackpot was last won on August 3rd in Pennsylvania. According to the Tennessee Lottery, “The only other Powerball jackpot run to reach 41 consecutive drawings ended on Oct. 4, 2021, with a $699.8 million winner in California.”

The ‘Multi-State Lottery Association,’ known as the M-U-S-L, is a non-profit association that assist’s states in multiple jurisdictions with the lottery. That group has not named which state had the problems that led to the delay. The overall ‘Powerball’ website simply states… “Results Pending.” Stacy Lynn with CBS News reports… Meanwhile, the Tennessee Lottery most recently reported, “This $1.9 billion, world-record jackpot has a cash option of $929.1 million.”
