Patricia Flynn Chance passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was 91. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland at The Grassmarket, an historic marketplace in the Old Town of Edinburgh. She was named after St. Patrick and born on St. Patrick's Day. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William 'Bill' Chance; son, Phillip Sparks; and daughter, Darlene Robinson. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Sparks, Sharon McCulley (Rick), Tina Chance Astarita (Glenn) and Vickie Sparks; sons, Roy E. Chance (Sherry), Michael 'Mike' Sparks (Felicia), Matthew Chance (Terri); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Luke's Catholic Church on Old Nashville Hwy in Smyrna, TN. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
