113th Tennessee General Assembly Convenes at noon This Tuesday

(NASHVILLE) The 113th Tennessee General Assembly convenes at noon this coming Tuesday (1/10/2023) for a two-year term. The first session is scheduled to adjourn on May 6, 2023. Tennessee has a Republican trifecta with the Republican Party controlling the office of governor and both chambers of the state legislature.

The Rutherford County delegation is made-up of two state senators: Shane Reeves and Dawn White, along with five state representatives: Charlie Baum, Tim Rudd, Mike Sparks, Robert Stevens and Bryan Terry.

Again, WGNS has invited the Rutherford County delegation to join us on the radio on the last Friday of each month that the General Assembly is in session to share what is happening and to interact with their constituents with on-air phone calls or text questions.
