New Leadership at Roscoe Brown, Inc.

(MURFREESBORO) Norman Brown, owner of Roscoe Brown, Inc., an 82-year-old HVAC, plumbing, insulation and generator company has announced changes to leadership. On Thursday, February 2nd, Brian Byrd became the new Chief Executive Officer, Brandi Crowell as Chief Financial Officer, Kirk White as Director of Operations and Andrew Foster as Operations Manager.

Roscoe Brown, Inc. is an 82-year-old family-owned and family-operated company headquartered in Murfreesboro, TN, with additional offices in Nashville, McMinnville and Tullahoma. Roscoe Brown takes its hometown roots seriously because we know our friends and neighbors deserve the best service. The company provides residential/commercial customers throughout 25 counties in middle Tennessee with indoor comfort solutions, including complete sales, service, and installation of high-quality heating and air conditioning systems, complete commercial and residential plumbing services, insulation, and generators. Roscoe Brown, Inc.’s mission is to provide the highest quality products and economical answers to its customers. Norman stated that he is excited for these position assignments and knows that the team in place is strong and more than capable to see the company move forward.

CFO Brian Byrd

Brian Byrd joined Roscoe Brown in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. Byrd has extensive financial, accounting, and managerial experience with several significant middle Tennessee employers, including 13-year tenure with Gaylord Entertainment Company. Byrd has a bachelor’s and master’s in Business Administration, majoring in accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Cash Manager. Byrd’s extensive experience in management and his financial knowledge has been instrumental in the growth of Roscoe Brown and  improvements in our processes and procedures. “Brian has been involved in all aspects of the business and has been key to the success of the company. He has developed a strong team around him and with his leadership and his core values I am confident that he will lead the company to a successful future. From day one Brian’s dedication to RBI has been second to none. His leadership and attention to detail is commendable and we’re a better company today thanks in large part to Brian,” says Norman Brown.

CFO Brandi Crowell

Brandi Crowell, a seasoned financial executive, is transitioning from Controller to Chief Financial Officer. Crowell brings years of business experience to the position. Before joining Roscoe Brown, she served as a CPA at Dempsey Vantreese Follis accounting firm for five years. “Brandi’s years of leadership in the financial and accounting areas of the business have been critical to the growth of Roscoe Brown.  She has a proven track record of managing the financial operations of the business and, as Chief Financial Officer, her skills, knowledge, and positivity will position us for continued growth and enable us to better serve Murfreesboro and the Middle Tennessee area communities as well as our Roscoe Brown family,” says Brian Byrd.

DOO Kirk White

Kirk White will move to Director of Operations. White has 23 years of experience in the mechanical field including HVAC, plumbing, air distribution, design, and customer relations. White joined Roscoe Brown in 2017 and has held positions in Commercial HVAC Service, Service Management, and Operations Management. “Kirk impresses me every day in his handling of numerous items that he manages with ease and expertise. Confidence in Kirk’s ability to administer a successful team is high,” states Norman Brown

OM Andrew Foster

Andrew Foster will assume the role of Operations Manager. Foster has over 15 years of experience in Plumbing and was hired as Plumbing Field Supervisor at Roscoe Brown in May of 2020 before quickly moving into the Plumbing Manager role in January 2021. “Andrew has proven his ability to take this step and competently manage and oversee the operations. He has served RBI well and we are confident in his leadership going forward,” says Brown.
