The national average price of diesel has fallen 6.9 cents in the last week and stands at $4.45 per gallon.
Rutherford County is currently averaging $3.12 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel, which is one of the higher averages for counties across the state. Nearby Williamson County continues to have the highest average price of fuel with regular unleaded averaging $3.42 per gallon.
