(MURFREESBORO)  The 12th Annual Special Kids Race begins at 7:00 o'clock Saturday morning (3/11/2023) on the campus of presenting sponsor, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & Surgicenter (1272 Garrison Drive).

The weather calls for partly sunny during the day and race temps in the mid 30s to low 40s.  Organizers are planning for another great crowd to benefit the children and families served at Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center, a local non-profit organization "serving Jesus Christ by caring for His children."

Both the 15K and 10K distances will begin at 7 AM on March 19th, shortly followed by the 5K start at 7:15 AM and the One-Mile "Fun Run" 8:45 AM.

Like previous Special Kids Race to date, the event will be held on the campus of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & Surgicenter; participants will run or walk on a course that travels from the Old Nashville Highway into the Stones River National Battlefield park and back to MMC.
