Church Donates PUBLIC ART at Murfreesboro Airport

(MURFREESBORO)  Public art is "art that is in the public for everyone to enjoy". The Experience Community Church donated Murfreesboro's first piece of "public art" Tuesday (4/4/2023) afternoon at the new Murfreesboro Airport.

Local Sculpture Joe Brown explained . . .

The words inscribed on the compass: DIRECTION, PURPOSE, PREPARATION and DESTINATION tell a strong story of preparing for a journey--whether for life or piloting an airplane. The sculpture is located in the concrete circle in the roundabout at the municipal airport.
