The event's Manager Linda Weeks told NewsRadio WGNS . . .

Beautiful spring flowers, local honey, strawberries, art and crafted items, delicious baked goods and more were all available around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse.

One newcomer said, "It feels like I've walked into one of those Norman Rockwell paintings of early Americana."

Main Street's Executive Director Sarah Callender noted, "Shoppers need to come hungry and enjoy the variety of restaurants and shoppes in the historic downtown area. Everything from clothing stores, unique home decor, rare furniture finds, ice cream, and more."

She continued, "We have unique shops, restaurants, private businesses, and government offices throughout the 20 blocks of our historic downtown. Our walkable Public Square surrounds the 1859 historic Rutherford County Courthouse, and vibrant side streets are home to approximately 400 locally owned businesses."

Weeks noted that the Saturday Market would take place every Saturday morning from 8:00AM until noon now through October.
