Segment #1  Linebaugh Library's Youth Services Coordinator Katie Turner and Assistant Joabe Andrabe tell about the kickoff party for the SUMMER READING PROGRAM. The party begins at 10:00AM at both the Linebaugh Library (105 W. Vine St.) and Smyrna Public Library (400 Enon Springs Rd. W).

Segment #2  A group of associates from the Rutherford County Library System focus on warm-weather FUN ACTIVITIES happening at all branches. 

Segment #3  Dr. Deborah Bonitz tells about tomorrow's "VA 2K Walk and Roll" that is open to the public at the Nashville campus as well as the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center in Murfreesboro. She said that the event will support homeless veterans. Since it is a "walk or roll" event, participants in wheel chairs or walking can join in on the event any time between 11:00AM - 1:00PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Participants are encouraged to bring new personal products for homeless veterans: undergarments, socks, shirts (preferably in LARGE sizes), non-perishable foods and hygiene products like toilet paper, shampoo, razors and more.
