This is Police Week where peace officers around the nation are being honored. Rutherford County Sheriffs Office lost a detective in a tragic crash last Sunday. PIO Lisa Marchesoni and Sgt. Gary Herron with the Rutherford County Sheriffs Office share a tribute. 

The program ends with another positive approach. Smyrna resident Marty Luffman was in a horrific head-on crash about two and a half years ago. Doctors said that he would never walk. Marty determined and is gaining strength. Plus, this week he had an inspiring achievement that let's us know "whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
