(MURFREESBORO)  Around 11:18 Friday morning (5/26/2023) Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue was called to a commercial roof fire at an outer strip center in front of the Stones River Town Centre, 207 Stones River Mall Blvd. 

Battalion Chief Jamie Bigelow said, “On arrival, fire crews found the roof on fire at a location that is under a major remodel. Crews from Ladder 4, 2, and Rescue 4 extinguished the roof fire while crews from Engine 7, 9, and Rescue 1 checked for fire extension into the building. Hard work from the crews kept the fire contained to a small area.” 

Bigelow noted "No injuries were reported. Strong work A Shift!"
