MURFREESBORO, TN – An unknown man has allegedly been stalking an 18-year-old Murfreesboro woman, according to a police report. Detectives are attempting to identify the person of interest in what has been labeled a stalking/aggravated assault case.

The woman reported to police the unidentified man has been following and watching her.

Police released information that shows on May 29, 2023, the woman was in Walmart with her uncle and spotted the man eyeing her. The woman reportedly told police she noticed the man was watching her shop. The same man supposedly followed her to the self-checkout registers.

As the female left the store, the man was at the grocery entrance near the cart corral and still watching her, according to the woman. The female called her father who was waiting in the car to let him know what was going on. She exited the store and returned with her father a short time later to confront the man.

The father allegedly approached the unknown subject to address his 'watching' and following of his daughter. It was during that confrontation the man pulled out a knife and threatened to stab the father, according to a report filed by the authorities. After the incident at Walmart, the unknown man left the business in a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Tesla Model 3 or a hatchback.

The 18-year-old told police she may have seen the same man a month prior outside of a residential address watching her. During the previous incident, the woman told police the man was parked outside the residence and watching her. See the below video released by Murfreesboro Police.
