(July 4, 2023) 11:00AM The Stones River Chapter of the National Society Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) invites the public to attend a patriotic ceremony commemorating the 247th anniversary of America's Independence at the Rutherford County courthouse lawn in Murfreesboro.. A reading of the Declaration of Independence will be included, and the chapter Color Guard will be presenting the flags in colonial period attire. This all-American event is FREE and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
