(MURFREESBORO) Best wishes to Detective Richard Presley who is retiring from the Murfreesboro Police Department after 24-years of service to this community. 

He started his law enforcement career with the Lynchburg, Virginia Sheriffs Office, and was there for over 5-years.  He then moved to Murfreesboro and entered the area of security for a little over a year. In July of 1999, Presley joined the Murfreesboro Police Department. 

Richard Presley has received endorsements for skills in being a firearms instructor and for reconstructing traffic crashes.
