Murfreesboro TN - Stepping Stones Safe Haven, a 501c3 charity that provides supportive services and shelter to women and children experiencing homelessness in Rutherford County will host its annual fundraising event, Bingo in The Barn. The event will be held at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro on September 19, 2023 from 6-9 pm (doors open at 5:30) . This year’s theme is “Denim and Diamonds” and dress will be jeans and bling. The event provides funding for the operations and programs of the shelter.
Tickets to Bingo In The Barn include dinner and beverages for a price of $35 per person. Bingo Cards can be purchased separately for each game and will be sold onsite at a cost of $5 per card. In keeping with the theme, bingo prize baskets include prizes like barbeque items, restaurant cards, travel and attractions, family activities, pet supplies, and spa services and have names like “Pit Master,” “All Gussied Up,” and “Home on the Range.” Baskets value up to $1000. At the event, there will also be a silent auction for items including airline ticket vouchers (including bags) donated by Spirit Airlines, a handmade quilt, original artwork, and unique one-of-a-kind items.
“Last year’s event was so much fun,” said Lacey Wilkins, Executive Director, “that we decided to do it again! We expect this year to be bigger and better!”
This year our title sponsor (the “Hope Diamond”) will be Experience Community Church, a strong supporter of Stepping Stones’ mission. Sponsors and supporters of this event come from every area of Rutherford County and every type of business.

About Stepping Stones - Stepping Stones is a non-profit serving women and children experiencing homelessness in Rutherford County. A day shelter located at 720 Old Salem Rd Murfreesboro provides clients a place to go during the day to shower, wash clothes, and get support to move from homelessness to housing. In addition to the day shelter, they provide overnight shelter for up to 12 women and children each night. All guests have access to case managers to help set goals and connect with resources for long term stability and healing.
